Show Report from Long Beach ISS 2023
Most of our team members are back from the Imprinted Sportswear Show in Long Beach. We’re happy to share some insight and a few photos. Here is a show report from the Long Beach ISS 2023.
If you weren’t able to attend, you’ll be glad to know the apparel decorating industry is as alive and vibrant as ever. The aisles were packed with attendees from around the globe and all over the U.S.
The educational sessions offered at the show were “standing room only.” Especially when it came to anything involving heat printing. People truly embrace heat printing as the ultimate printing solution for both on-demand printing and high volume production.
Pro Day Educational Session
The Pro Day Session, led by Josh Ellsworth, Jenna Sackett, Jennifer Johnson and Dave Conner was designed to help attendees refine their business model. They offered heat printing solutions to help you take control and level up.
Each attendee received a PRO DAY kit which included a ready to decorate backpack, cap, T-shirt and notebook along with the latest heat transfer products to apply. Jenna showed the latest special effect transfers and trending garment styles. Josh explained how to maximize opportunity when decorating with dimensional logos, sharing ways to transform your business and earn higher profits with less effort.
The Hotronix 360 IQ Hat Press was the star of Josh’s segment.
Jennifer spoke on the advantages of using digital transfers. You can use digital transfers, such as our UltraColor MAX line, to increase your average order and reach new customer types. UltraColor MAX is our hot peel DTF transfer which you can order from both Stahls’ and Stahls’ Transfer Express.
Finally, Dave shared insight on fast and easy heat press loading techniques, updated equipment to reduce time to print and heat transfer recipes for success.
Huge Interest in CAD-CUT Heat Transfer Vinyls
There was huge interest in our newly launched CAD-CUT Puff material, as well as all of our CAD-CUT heat transfer vinyls with specialty finishes. People are always looking for ways to recreate foil, reflective, glitter and other special logo finishes. CAD-CUT is one of the best ways you can offer a logo finish that isn’t possible with other methods.

We were also honored to host a mix and mingle event with some of our industry friends and partners on Thursday before the show opened. Thank you to everyone who was able to attend, it was truly a fabulous crowd.
We held live educational sessions on the hour, with a great response from visitors.
Dane Clement did another live “in-booth” painting to match the theme of our ultra-colorful booth.
