About the Shop Makeover Scholarship
STAHLS’ launched the Stahl Family Small Business Scholarship last year and awarded 21 winners, five each quarter plus and additional winner at the end of the year, to up and coming entrepreneurs in the apparel industry. Last year’s winners had the chance to work with STAHLS’ experts to dive into all things heat printing. The STAHLS’ team helped winners with everything from learning how to use their new heat press to identifying their business goals and helping them create a roadmap to get there.
Now, in the company’s 90th year, STAHLS’ is excited to provide an even more immersive experience to established small business owners with the hopes of taking their business to the next level.

Whether entrepreneurs know they need another heat press or vinyl cutter, or are just looking for expert advice on improving operations, STAHLS’ wants to help them reach all of their business
dreams. Winning packages will be tailored to each business’ individual needs, but some of the highlights of what could be won include:
- Materials and equipment
- Onsite training of new equipment
- Quarterly onsite coaching sessions from STAHLS’ experts to help business owners accomplish their goals in 2022 and beyond
To apply for a shop makeover, businesses must meet the following criteria:
- Have an existing dedicated workspace outside of a residence
- Be an established apparel decoration business operating for at least 3 years
- Operate as a full-time business (not part time/side hustle)
