As mentioned in my last post, Heat Printing Predictions for 2014, Part 2, I said we would be seeing more metallics in 2014. Here’s proof of the popularity of metallics: The new NHL Stadium Series jerseys (the NHL Stadium Series is a schedule of outdoor hockey games, including one in Los Angeles) feature a futuristic logo treatment for each participating team , some of which include a high-tech chrome treatment. have a lighter feel than the traditional embroidered crests normally found on hockey jerseys. Proof of another trend–the use of numbers as a design element. You’ll notice custom-shaped numbers on the backs of the jerseys are enlarged and the sleeve numbers are angled, to enhance visibility.

For those of you who sell licensed jerseys, Stahls’ has offically licensed NHL®/NHLPA® player name and number kits and we also have the kits for the Stadium Series. When ordering online, pick the appropriate team and, under jersey type, select “STADIUM 14.” Under “Player Name & Number,” choose the player’s name from the drop-down list.
