Ricki Stahl enjoying the beauty and wonder of the Au Sable River near her home in Grayling, Michigan. Ricki loved to fish and she loved this spot on the river.
I just wanted to say thank you to everyone who has emailed or left comments on this blog about my mother’s passing. All your kind words, memories and sympathies have been helpful in dealing with the empty feeling we have now that she is gone. My daughter Krystin composed a very lovely poem in honor of her “Gramma” and I thought I would share it with you. Grandmothers truly are special people. God Bless Grandmothers everywhere!

Ricki was a very special lady & I feel lucky to have known her during my years working for Nursing Unlimited. I always enjoyed my visits with her. She had so many health challenges but her fighting spirit always seemed to pull her through! Ricki was blessed to have such a caring family. It really does make a huge difference in the quality of a person’s life. My condolences go out to all of you.
Keeping you in my thoughts & prayers, Gail Langefeld RN
