Another wonderful side effect of participating in the Great Race, in addition to all the fantastic people, is the beautiful countryside we get to experience. A lot of careful planning goes into planning each Great Race route. It’s not easy to travel 2,100 miles while trying to avoid many of the major freeways and expressways that a normal traveler would take. We get to travel the scenic route and this drive down the Eastern seaboard has truly been special. We are constantly reminded of how beautiful this country is, and how proud people are to live here. And since we are getting closer to the Fourth of July, many of the homes along the route are flying flags and when people come and sit along the route they also bring flags. It’s so nice to see all the patriotism. No matter where you are in the world, we wish you a safe and beautiful weekend. And a quick thank you to everyone who donated to the Race Against Autism yesterday. We will be getting those caps and bears out to you!
