How To Order Full Color Transfers

It’s easier than you think to order full color transfers for heat application.

If you’ve decided you want to try ordering full color transfers, there are a few things you need to know. First of all, if you are ordering CAD-Printz Digital Transfers from Stahls’ or Stahls’ Transfer Express, you can easily upload your artwork and the Analyzer will automatically recognize if your artwork is raster or vector based. The Analyzer will also determine the size of your artwork. Make sure you remove any backgrounds that might be in your artwork that you do not wish to be printed. You can submit either, but if you have a raster file, it must have a minimum of 150dpi in order for the print to appear sharp. It is preferable for the dpi to be at least 350. This video explains the differences between raster and vector artwork. Keep in mind that you need to will also need to determine the type of outline you wish your artwork to have. This is especially important if you have small, detailed elements in your design. If your design doesn’t have an outline, we will add one to your artwork. It is possible to change the color of the outline to the color of the garment on which you are printing. You can also choose to have your CADPrintz design printed on a clear carrier.
