What are my biggest impressions from the recent Imprinted Sportswear Show in Long Beach? Well we couldn’t have asked for a better show, with the largest number of registered visitors and the opportunity to help many new start ups as well as visit with established customers. The new Transfer Express booth was also a hub of activity and we had a record breaking number of people discover how easy it is to apply transfers. I always appreciate seeing someone press a transfer on a shirt for the first time. It was also a huge show for Hotronix. According to Ben Robinson, we weren’t just selling one or two presses at a time, but had customers that were placing orders for 12 and 20 presses. “The Hotronix Air Fusion is really growing its reputation as a production workhorse, especially the Dual Air Fusion. It is so well-suited for high volume garment printing and we are thrilled more and more companies are understanding how this press can cut labor times significantly.” Another big announcement at the show took place on Friday morning, when Dane Clement held a press conference to announce the availability of yearly or monthly stock art subscription services. Now anyone can have instant access to Great Dane’s stock art files for direct-to-garment, dye sublimation, printing/cutting, vinyl cutting, laser/inkjet printing, and screen printing methods. There are simple plans available starting as low as $18.99 per month. For more information on the new Great Dane Graphics Subscription service, click here. Thank you again to everyone at Stahls’ who worked hard to make this show a success and thank you to everyone who took the time to stop by and learn more about heat printing. What did you think about the show?
