Remember the post from a while back, “Don’t Go Naked At Night?” I still heartily believe that adding reflective graphics to clothing for safety reasons is still one of the best things you can possibly do with a heat press. And according to some news shared with me by Jason Murphy, we have a good customer that also promotes safety and visibility with reflective graphics.
Mike Cherman, owner of ICNYsport.com, (@ICNYsport) recently won an Agenda Award at the Agenda Show in Long Beach, California. The award was for the Best Men’s Collection at the show, and they were selected from over 750 different lifestyle, streetwear, contemporary, and action sports brands showcasing at the flagship Agenda Show in Long Beach.
Congratulations Mike! Not just on the award, but we really appreciate what you are doing to promote safety and visibility. Mike knows first hand why reflective wear is so important. In 2012, he was struck by a car while riding his bike. This inspired Mike to design stylish yet functional clothing that also offered increased visibility. As their website states: “ICNY provides pedestrians, runners, and cyclists alike with clothing to keep them safe during any activity, while looking good doing it. The philosophy behind ICNY is the continued exploration of boundaries with fashion and function, aesthetics and athletics, and the evolution of hi-visibility.”
Or as we like to say, “Don’t Go Naked at Night!”
