About Stahls’ Upcoming Print on Demand Conference
I’ve been thinking a lot about how fast our industry is moving, and how important it is that we don’t just keep up with change, but help lead it.
That’s exactly why we’re so excited about our upcoming second annual STAHLS’ Print on Demand Conference.
When we launched this conference last year, the goal was simple: bring the industry together around what’s next. Not just products. Not just equipment. But the bigger picture: How print on demand is reshaping customization, fulfillment, team sports, promo, ecommerce, and branded merchandise.
What’s happened since then has exceeded our expectations.
More than Sessions
This event has become more than a schedule of sessions. It’s become a meeting point for forward-thinking decorators, brands, suppliers, and technology partners who want to build the future of on-demand production the right way. It reflects the role STAHLS’ has grown into — not just a provider of technology, but a leader and connector across the customization ecosystem.
Sharing Knowledge and More
We believe leadership means sharing knowledge, opening doors, and inviting collaboration. Even when it brings different parts of the industry — including competitors — into the same room. When you put community ahead of short-term advantage, everyone benefits. We’ve seen that firsthand.
This year’s conference continues that spirit — real education, real conversations, and real strategy around where print on demand is going and how businesses can grow with it.
And I should mention — while the alpacas are not returning this year, they’ve taken on a life of their own.
Alpaca Energy
Last year’s surprise alpaca appearance turned into a viral moment, and I still see people referencing it and sharing photos. It’s become a running joke and a fun badge of honor for those who were there. I hope you enjoy some of the reposts of the photos that attendees are sharing on social media. It’s been a lot of fun. Sometimes the unexpected moments are the ones people remember most.
Kudos to our Team!
I want to recognize a few people.
Carleen Gray has been fully supportive of this conference and the bigger vision behind it. Making this an executive priority — and backing an open, industry-wide event — takes commitment and confidence. I appreciate her leadership and trust.
Josh Ellsworth deserves special credit as the driving force behind the Print on Demand Conference. He saw the need, built the concept, and pushed it forward. That kind of initiative moves an industry.
And I’m incredibly proud of the entire STAHLS’ team — across events, marketing, operations, content, technology, and leadership — who make an event like this possible. It takes coordination, creativity, and a lot of behind-the-scenes effort. This team delivers.
To my industry friends: print on demand is not a side conversation anymore. It’s a core growth strategy across multiple markets. This conference is about helping businesses understand it, apply it, and succeed with it.
Thank You To Sponsors and Attendees
Before I close, I also want to thank our sponsors who stepped forward to support this conference and the bigger mission behind it. Events like this only work when partners believe in advancing the industry — not just promoting themselves. Their support helps make the experience richer, more practical, and more valuable for everyone attending.
Most of all, thank you to the attendees. The decorators, team dealers, promo professionals, brand builders, and technology leaders who are taking time away from their businesses to invest in learning and connection. You are the reason this conference exists.
What you’ll experience here goes beyond presentations. You’ll see real-world applications of print on demand. You’ll hear honest lessons from companies doing the work at scale. You’ll get a close look at new technology, smarter workflows, and practical growth strategies. Just as important, you’ll build relationships and have conversations that continue long after the event ends. That’s where the real value shows up.
I’m grateful for the community that continues to form around this conference. It says a lot about where our industry is headed — and how willing people are to work together to move it forward.
We’re proud to host it. Proud of the team behind it. And thankful for everyone who is part of it.
