On this Veterans Day, we would like to extend our thanks to all the veterans out there for your service. We are extremely honored and grateful to be able to have you in our lives. The Stahl family has always had a big heart for veterans, since our father served in the Pacific during WWII and brother Brian served in Vietnam. We also have many family members who have served or who are currently active military. We understand that it is not always easy for veterans to re-adjust to life, and that there are many who require ongoing support. This is one of the reasons we have dedicated our recent fundraising effort, Hat Trick for Heroes, to supporting the Michigan Disabled American Veterans organization. One way you can help contribute is by attending the third and final event in our Hat Trick for Heroes. On Sat. Nov. 12 a hockey game will take place at the St. Clair Shores Civic Ice Arena. Facing off once again will be Team STAHLS’ vs. the Detroit Red Wings Alumni. The Detroit Red Wings Alumni team features former Red Wings Darren McCarty and many other top players. (The teams battled it out last year at the Frozen Fish Fiasco and it was great fun) There will also be a special memorial tribute to our friend and former Red Wing great, the late Gordie Howe. The hockey event is open to the public with a $10 donation that goes to the Michigan Disabled American Veterans. The line up for the Detroit Red Wings Alumni Team includes:
