Veterans Day has always held significant meaning for our family. My brother Brian served in Vietnam, our father in the Pacific and have many extended family members and friends that served in Iraq and Afghanistan, as well as those who are still serving. Of course within the GroupeSTAHL family there are also veterans and GroupeSTAHL families with members that currently serve. To all of you, we are thankful for your service and appreciative of all you do and have done to continue to guarantee our freedoms. We understand the sacrifices that veterans and their families make, which is why, on this Veterans Day, the Stahl family is involved in a Detroit-area event that will raise money for one of our favorite charities, The Wounded Warrior Project. The Wounded Warrior Project aims to raise awareness for the needs of injured service members, help injured service members aid and assist each other, and provide unique, direct programs and services to meet the needs of injured service members. You can learn more about The Wounded Warrior Project at woundedwarriorproject.org. During the Stahls Auto Museum Veterans Day event, we also hope to encourage open discussion about history between the generations and to allow veterans to share their stories. If you are in the area, please join us from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Nov. 11, 2014 at 56516 North Bay Dr. in Chesterfield, Michigan.
