It’s always great to hear from customers when our team members go above and beyond. Elvira recently shared a story with me that takes the meaning of “on-demand” printing to a new level. Last week, on the first day of the ASI Show in Dallas, Berry, Koye and Sharon from Macco Promotions stopped by the Stahls’ booth. They took the time to learn about the Air Fusion, eventually purchasing the floor model. (Enjoy your new heat press!) At the end of the day, they came back to the booth to see if we could help them out with a custom printing predicament. They needed 400 full color custom labels printed ASAP and their current supplier was unable to meet the deadline. One option would have been calling in a rush CAD-Printz Custom order, but they needed them faster. With Stahls’ custom printing expert Bob Robinson in the booth running the printer/cutter, we decided we had enough CAD-COLOR media on hand to take care of the order on the spot. The next morning, the Macco folks came back to the booth with the art file and the labels were printed, cut, weeded, masked and hand delivered to them within about an hour (please note, this is not our normal turnaround time)! The gang from Macco Promotions was so excited they called over another supplier to show him what we had accomplished. His words: “NOW THAT IS CUSTOMER SERVICE!” A special thanks to Bob for doing all the hard work and to everyone at the show who helped make this possible.
