If you’re a football fan, this past weekend gave us some memorable moments. It seems as if you can’t go anywhere without someone mentioning the Auburn over Alabama

upset. Or the Michigan vs. Ohio State nail biter. Another thing you may have noticed while watching football this weekend was the abundance of rally towels. I’ve talked about how to print towels before and just wanted to remind everyone what a huge market this is. Remember, high school teams want to be like college teams and if your high school doesn’t have rally towels, make them an offer they can’t refuse. There are many ways to print towels but one way is heat printing. If you have a heat press, you can print towels. Personally I like to use Thermo-FLOCK on towels, due to the soft raised texture but you can use just about any CAD-CUT heat transfer film. You can even use lettering to personalize towels that have been mass produced, since they usually all look the same. This is a great event marketing idea, just bring a few boxes of lettering and your heat press to the next game and let people add sayings, names, whatever they want to their towels. Get ready to take advantage of this for the upcoming basketball season.
