At Stahls’, we have made security for our team members a top priority with the formation of our own Security Team. Security surveillance is provided 24/7 for five different locations in Michigan, with the first shift checking in at 5am on work days and responders available on call all weekend. Some of their responsibilities include:
• Arming and disarming alarm systems for all locations as required
• Install/maintain camera systems
• Develop and create presentations for safety awareness training for all associates as approved by security manager and Executive management
• Provide training for associates in safety awareness
• Ensure safety procedures, set by Executive management and security department, are being followed
• Weekend on call monitoring (i.e., video escorting, offsite monitoring, responding to alarm sensor alerts)
• Coordinate security operations or activities with public law enforcement, fire and other agencies
• Conduct security audits as required
• Patrols locations
• Perform Vehicle monitoring
• Perform Offsite monitoring
• Perform Office monitoring
• Perform camera escorting
• Operate and use of electronic deterrents
• Maintain daily security report log
• On call 24/7 in case of security emergency
• Respond to all security alerts when required
• Communicates with other departments regarding security activities, policies, and procedures as directed
• Performs preventative maintenance duties on cameras
• Ensure lighting at all locations is in proper working condition
• Maintain operation of security vehicle
• Coordinate security activities to safeguard company assets, associates, guests, or others on company property
