This weekend wrapped things up with the Great Race 2016 with a grand finish in Moline, Illinois. Congratulations to the Grand Champions, G.R. Pike and Bobby Hadskey! Congrats to everyone who finished and to those who may not have been so lucky–it was a challenging course this year, with high elevations, extreme heat, mountain roads and lots of turns and curves that put a lot of stress on these vintage vehicles. Whether your car actually rolled over the finish line or not–our own Stars and Stripes didn’t make it–there’s always next year. We are thankful for all the support and help our Spirit of Stahls teams received from those along the way and those back at home. We couldn’t have done it without you. Thanks for following along and we will be sharing a few more pictures this week. We look forward to getting the cars back home and after a short break, getting ready for next year!

It's always a big celebration at the finish.
