First Glimpse of Nike NFL Gear at Pro Bowl

Nike gave observant fans a glimpse of new NFL wear with their Vapor Jet reciever gloves made popular by some NCAA teams.

As many of you already know, back in October 2010 the NFL announced that, as of April 2012, Nike will be the manufacturer of NFL uniforms when the current contract with Reebok expires. This means that Nike will be the official uniform provider and will produce all on-field apparel including game uniforms and base layer, as well as sideline personnel apparel and fan gear.  There have been loads of “supposed” Nike concept design boards floating around the web, but we won’t see the official uniforms until April 1st. However, some new gloves did appear in this weekend’s NFL Pro Bowl. The Vapor Jet Receiver Gloves form a high-contrast team logo at the palms when put together. I’m sure if what they did for the Oregon Ducks is any indication, we will be seeing some radical and hopefully positive changes for our favorite NFL teams. One change they’ve already unveiled is a new Carolina Panthers logo.

What do you think of the new Carolina Panthers' logo? As usual, opinions from fans are mixed. I think some tweaks will be made before the official new uniforms are unveiled.
