In the “olden” days (20 years ago), it was relatively easy to figure out the heat press settings. You had one setting for cotton fabrics, one for polyester fabrics and one for 50/50 poly-cotton blends. That was about it. The majority of shirts used to be cotton or poly/cotton plain and simple. Nobody wore polyester (leisure suits anyone?). Today, it’s practically the opposite. Everyone wears polyester, polyester blends, tri-blends, performance wear blends, the list goes on and on. There are dozens of fabrics that you need to understand in order to ensure proper heat printing results. Luckily, Stahls’ has advanced adhesives that work on just about any fabric, allowing you to heat print on anything. But you have to have a deeper understanding of how your heat press works with more sophisticated fabrics. If you’re confused, you’re not alone. Recently, StahlsTV put together some very helpful guidelines on matching the right heat applied graphics with the right fabrics. This video will also give you a better understanding of today’s fabrics and how you can get better printing results.

Is there a low temp product for decorating poly bag? They seem to be popular from suppliers but most applications are to hot.
Is there a conversion we can use with the Graphtec cutter for force as I was used to Roland in gram?
Thank you
Bob
