It’s almost that time of year again…time for The 2014 Great Race! Many of you may have followed along, and some of you even road along, when we participated in the 2012 and the 2013 Great Races. If you’ve never heard of it before, the Great Race is a 10-day, over 2,000 mile long road rally. All the participants drive cars that have “classic car” status, which means they are vehicles manufactured in 1972 or earlier. Last year there were over 100 entrants and people are still signing up for this year. On May 2nd it was announced that Frank Buonanno will be bringing his 1915 Hudson race car back to the Great Race this summer. It will be the oldest car in the 2014 race from Maine to Florida! This year, we are not only a sponsor of the race, but we also have 3 teams participating in three different cars. We’ll be sharing more about the Great Race as it gets closer to the June 21 start date. You can also follow along on our Spirit of Stahls’ Facebook page. Check out the route and see if you are able to join us along one leg of the race for a few hours. It’s an experience you’ll never forget.
