J.J. started Beknown after seeing a gap in the market of custom designed premium headwear and apparel. Before printing custom apparel, they serviced small businesses in their area and brought affordable websites and advertising to dozens of surrounding communities. Beknown started as a full blown e-commerce store with caps featuring stock sayings and slogans, but the sales were underwhelming. Until one day, a client asked them make a dozen hats with a custom business logo on them. A new business idea was born.
