Stahls’ Honors Veterans 2023

On Friday November 10, the Stahls’ Power Play for Heroes Charity Hockey Game will take place. It supports an initiative which is near and dear to everyone in the Stahl family, as well as many of our team members. The proceeds raised will support veterans through Guardian Angels Medical Service Dogs. With a star-studded lineup, exclusive memorabilia, and a variety of activities, this event is a must-attend for Detroit hockey enthusiasts and those passionate about giving back to those who have sacrificed for our freedom.

Here is a link from Detroit’s WXYZ with information.

Anticipation is high as the Red Wings alumni team, with a stellar roster, prepares to hit the ice. The confirmed participants include hockey legends such as Eddie Mio, George Bowman, John Blum, Danny DeKeyser, Jonathan Ericsson, Brent Fedyk, Darren McCarty, Drew Miller, Larry Murphy, John Ogrodnick, Jay Adams, Dave Coulier, Lorne Knauft, Sergei Kharin, Carlo Romita, and more.

What makes this game even more special is its dedication to raising funds for Guardian Angels Medical Service Dogs, an organization that pairs specially trained medical service dogs with Michigan veterans. The proceeds generated from the event contribute to this noble cause, making a meaningful impact in the lives of those who have served their country. Before the puck drops, local veterans will be honored on the ice.

Hockey enthusiasts and Red Wings fans will have the opportunity to snag exclusive Red Wings Alumni memorabilia and apparel available for purchase. The prestigious Ted Lindsay trophy will also be present, providing fans with the chance to capture memorable photos.

Adding to the allure of the event, WXYZ sports director Brad Galli is set to lace up his skates once again, joining Team Stahls’ for what promises to be an unforgettable match.

STAHLS AUTO COLLECTION OPEN HOUSE

In addition, you can also join us in further honoring veterans and fundraising for Guardian Angels Medical Service Dogs at the Stahls’ Auto Collection in Chesterfield, Michigan on November 11th. We are having an open house for veterans and their family members from 10AM-4PM. But please keep in mind there is construction in the area. The website has full details on the event.

I’ll follow up with photos and a report on the game for those who could not attend. Thank you for everyone who helped make this event possible.

Mary and I are honored to be able to support veterans on November 11 and every day. We thank you–and your families– for your service.
