Accepting the Comcast Legacy Sports Award on behalf of Stahls at the Michigan Sports Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony on Feb. 12th, 2015. The award was presented by Todd England, Director of Enterprise Sales for Comcast Business, Heartland Region. Everyone at Stahls’ is thankful and humbled to receive this recognition.
On February 12th, Stahls’ had the great honor to receive the 2015 Comcast Sports Legacy Award. We accepted this award on behalf of the entire company at the Michigan Sports Hall of Fame (MSHOF) Induction Ceremony. And even though Stahls’ has served the sporting goods industry in Michigan and beyond since 1932, we were still very surprised and humbled to learn we were receiving this special honor. We truly appreciate and are thankful for the recognition of our worldwide team effort in serving the sporting goods industry. The highlight of the evening however was the induction of some very prestigious Michigan-related athletes. This year’s inductees included Tom Izzo, Barry Larkin, Sheila Taormina, Aleta Sill, Sergei Fedorov and Doug English. Everyone who was able to attend on behalf of the company was moved and inspired by the stories and accomplishments of all the award recipients. Congratulations to all the inductees. The Michigan Sports Hall of Fame is a non-profit organization that was established in 1954. According to its mission, it is committed to impacting and inspiring people by celebrating and honoring the traditions, legacies and history of sports throughout the state of Michigan.
