Soccer, or “football” as it’s known in most countries outside of North America, is the sport that keeps on growing. This year, you’re going to hear even more about soccer, since it is a World Cup year. The FIFA World Cup has been played every four years since the inaugural tournament in 1930 (except in 1942 and 1946). If you haven’t heard, it’s going to take place in Brazil, in approximately 49 days. What are you doing ready to get ready for the pending World Cup frenzy? One soccer-focused company based in California, Soccerloco, is ready to switch into high gear, offering replica jerseys from all participating teams, whether those jerseys are from Puma, Nike or Adidas. I haven’t spoken to the folks at Soccerloco.com personally recently, but I can tell you that I’m pretty sure their method of choice for creating these replica soccer jerseys is going to be heat printing. The Men’s US National Team will be participating in the World Cup 2014 and is grouped in one of the tougher brackets, facing Germany, Ghana and Portugal. You’ll find that many local soccer clubs and leagues in your area may be hosting World Cup viewing parties. Perhaps a market niche for an enterprising heat printer you know?
