Sometimes it’s the little things people say or do that are a bit out of the ordinary that catch your attention. For example, at the conclusion of a phone call I had earlier today, the person said “Have an amazing day.” A few simple words, but they stood out because it was different than the usual “have a good one” or just plain old “goodbye.” It got me to thinking how easy it is to make an impact on someone just by taking the time to say something that people are so used to hearing that they just tune it out.
