Merry Christmas to All!

The Magnificent Fox Theatre in Detroit, Michigan, A Stahl Family Christmas Tradition

Attending an event at the magnificent Fox Theatre in Detroit, Michigan, is a Stahl Family Christmas tradition

One of the jewels of downtown Detroit, the Fox Theatre was originally billed as “the most magnificent Temple of Amusement in the World.” Our family would have to agree. We have so many precious memories of attending shows here, especially during the holiday season. Whether it was the Radio City Music Hall’s Rockettes or a classic holiday film, it was an experience unlike any other. Upon entering the ornate, six-story lobby—with elaborate Egyptian, Burmese, Persian and Oriental motifs—you are transported to another place in time. The Fox is the largest surviving, continuously running movie palace, seating over 5,000 guests. It was restored to its original glamour in 1988 and continues instill wonder and joy for new generations.

On behalf of my wife Mary, our children and grandchildren, we wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a fantastic 2017.
