We’re All in this Together

Of course a custom t-shirt was in order to help celebrate daughter Erin’s 50th birthday this past weekend. We were happy to celebrate with 26 family members at a local restaurant. (There’s a dose of political humor in the shirt because Erin served as a St. Clair Shores, MI councilwoman from 2003-07, including mayor pro-tem in 2007)

With more and more COVID-19 quarantine guidelines being issued, this past week has brought many sudden changes to our normal way of life. We have all been affected in many ways. On Tuesday (or earlier) we will be issuing a formal statement on what we are doing as a company, but you can rest assured that we are planning to remain open to serve you and support the continued success of your businesses. I will share the statement here and you will also receive an email if you are on our mailing list. In the meanwhile, we do have policies in place at GroupeSTAHL companies around the world and we are working as hard as we can to ensure that your orders will be processed in the speeds at which you are accustomed to receiving them. My wife Mary and I have found that humor goes a long way in making these changes more bearable, and we are getting a kick out of all the toilet paper memes that are popping up. We are also trying to live our lives as normally as possible, and this past weekend we were able to gather as a family to celebrate daughter Erin’s milestone birthday. It was a lot of fun and we are very glad we could all be together. One thing I know for certain is that many of you are hard at work on your version of  an “I Survived 2020” t-shirt. Please share them with us if you are so inclined. As Phyllis Diller once said, “A smile is a curve that sets everything straight.” Also, please know that Stahls’ is hosting live, online educational events every day for the rest of March. You can tune in from the safety of your computer or phone at 11 AM EDT starting Monday March 16. For more information or to register, click here.

Mary and I kept an eye on the youngest grandkids while everyone else enjoyed a fun challenge at the Chesterfield Escape Room.

I know this will be on a t-shirt somewhere soon. There is so much creativity out there right now with people trying to make the best of a difficult situation.

Choose love, enthusiasm, kindness and joy whenever possible. Another fantatstic t-shirt idea.

Join us every day at 11AM EDT for the rest of March for free online heat printing events. Click here to register.
