Behind the Scenes at the 2021 NFL Draft

Every year since 2012, Stahls’ has worked with Nike and the NFL to help make the custom jerseys which are handed to new draftees. Last year things were a bit different, but we still helped players get their jerseys. This year, we are back live, behind the scenes, heat printing jerseys with Hotronix heat presses.

NFL 2021 Draft Preparation

Stahls’ Decorating Fulfillment Center, DFC, went to work on the 2021 NFL Draft starting back in December 2020. Over the course of the last few months, plans have changed a number of times but the 2021 NFL Draft is happening live, in-person in Cleveland, OH.

Stahls’ has a limited number of team members behind the scenes pressing names on jerseys as the picks are revealed.

Over 2400 Names Cut and Weeded

This year, DFC decorated and provided eight of each team’s jersey just awaiting the name. In addition, we cut and weeded over 2,400 names this year to have ready to go for the first round.  If you do the math, that’s 38 prospects across 32 teams with two names made for each jersey. We are prepared!

But that’s not all. In addition to being behind the scenes for the actual draft prospects, Stahls’ will also have a team helping the Cleveland Browns personalize apparel for fans that get to attend the event. It’s going to be a busy week and weekend of heat printing. We are more than honored to be involved and looking forward to the challenge.
