Everyone at Stahls’ is so proud of the city of Detroit, where the 2024 NFL Draft recently took place. According to an announcement made on day three, Motown surpassed Nashville’s record of 600,000 visitors in 2019. Over 700,000 visitors attended the 2024 event, which took place in several locations in downtown Detroit. Everyone at Stahls’ Michigan locations received a special NFL Draft sweatshirt or T-shirt to wear to work on Thursday, the first day of the draft.
Behind the Scenes
Stahls’ is honored once again to play a small but very exciting “behind the scenes” role in the festivities. During the first round of the NFL Draft, our team was backstage supporting Nike and Fanatics in supplying personalized jerseys which are handed to each draftee. Once the draftee’s name is announced, our team has under two minutes to heat press the name on the back of the jersey and hand it off to be carried to the stage. We have helped in this capacity since 2012 and it is something the fans and draftees really seem to enjoy. Congratulations to the team behind the scenes during Round One.
Loyal Lions Fans
Speaking of fans, there was a sea of blue–and Stahls’ Thermo-FILM names and numbers– to be seen during the Draft. Even with hundreds of thousands of attendees, it was clear a majority of them were wearing Honolulu blue–the distinctive color of the Detroit Lions. Lions fans are very loyal and they are more hopeful than ever to see their team start winning again. It was great to see the fans from all the teams turnout in such great numbers.
Hugo Boss Activation
In addition, we also had another team doing an activation with Hugo Boss. Hugo Boss has partnered with the NFL to offer high-quality spirit wear. After purchasing a sweatshirt or T-shirt, fans could choose to personalize the item with an NFL team logo. Our team was there using Hotronix heat presses to print on demand.
