Peggy, Donna, Juliet and Emily, aka the Learning and Development Team, were responsible for setting up boxes of greeting cards to help spread kindness in the workplace.
In the past I’ve written about “The Things Our Parents Taught Us,” which is a big part of the corporate culture at GroupeSTAHL. In honor of our mother Ricki Stahl, and to promote her legacy of acts of kindness, the Learning and Development Team has placed card boxes throughout the company–with more coming soon. Each plastic box contains cards for a variety of occasions. Team members are encouraged to pick a card, fill it out, and leave it at the work station of a fellow employee. It’s a great way to celebrate anniversaries and birthdays, to thank someone or give a random compliment. You never know when a small act of kindness on your part will make a world of difference to someone else.
Don’t underestimate the power of one. Take a card, give a card.
