Glitter Flake on Hockey Uniforms

The Lady Bulldogs are the talk of the ice rink…not just for their hockey skills, but for their custom cut logos and numbers that feature pink Glitter Flake heat transfer material combined with a gap outline of  Thermo-FILM.

I’m a strong believer in the saying: “A picture is worth a thousand words.”

I’ve been telling you for quite some time that bling looks are here to stay and are even crossing over into use for sports uniforms. Brian McLeod, General Manager of Stahls’ ID Direct, proved me right recently by sharing a photo of a local girl’s hockey team that used Stahls’ CAD-CUT® Glitter Flake heat transfer material. He says the girls are the envy of all the other teams in the league with their pink glitter accented logos. The numbers on the backs of the uniforms, as well as the warm ups the girls wear, also feature glitter.

According to Brian, “A little bling goes a long way, and that is why the glitter is gap-outlined with our more traditional uniform decorating heat transfer material, Thermo-FILM®.”

If you have any examples of teams using “bling” on their uniforms, please send them to me and I will post on the blog.

You can’t miss these Glitter Flake numbers, custom cut with a Thermo-FILM gap outline. Talk about making a good impression on the ice.
