In Sri Lanka, the foremost garment decoration technologies are screen printing and DTG. Heat printing is just beginning to become popular and information on heat printing is sought-after and appreciated by fair attendees.
Stahls’ Asia recently participated in our first screen print show at the Sri Lanka Exhibition & Convention Centre, where our booth was front and center in the exhibition hall. The Hotronix Dual Air Fusion was a show stopper, attracting many visitors who wanted to learn more about heat printing technology. “Heat presses with this level of technology and precision are simply not the norm in this part of the world,” said one visitor. And with heat printing technology relatively new to most of the visitors, they were able to recognize it as a total solution to many of their decoration challenges. Visitors immediately understood and recognized the potential for heat printing. There was also a huge appreciation for our quality and our reputation as a world class manufacturer of CAD-CUT heat transfer materials and CAD-COLOR digital media, reported Thomas Karr, CEO GroupeSTAHL Europe. There was also great interest in thin, stretchable heat transfer materials as well as textured materials such as silicone and flock.
